Parama Koh Chang

Hom was the highlight of our week. She manages the place with so much care, knows a lot, anticipates what you need, and helped us with everything. The resort itself is stunning, with butterflies all over and a lush, green feel. It reminded me of being in nature in Chiang Mai, except the sea and nearby islands were right outside the window. Our room looked directly onto the resort pond with fish, giving us a lovely view of the water and greenery. The bed was huge and super comfortable, so relaxing was easy.

We just wrapped up a week at Parama, and Hom was the best part of our trip to Thailand. She’s the manager, but she felt like family. She’s smart, knowledgeable, and often knew what we needed before we asked. We even started calling her “Mom” because she made the resort feel like home. She handled everything from regular service to our most random, weird requests so well. The resort is a solid 5-star experience, and the service makes it feel like 7 stars. The property is beautiful, like a well-kept jungle. It’s on a secluded side of the island, which we loved for the quiet and more authentic, local feel compared with the touristy areas. Stay here if you’re coming to Koh Chang, and if you see Hom, you’ll be in the best hands. We’ll return 1000%.

There are huge fish and turtles 🐢 at this hotel, beautiful to see. You can buy fish to feed them for 70 THB. The swimming pool is very nice, and the hotel has a great view 👍

We tossed fish into the water for about half an hour, as the staff suggested that turtles might show up. None did, unfortunately.
