TP Hut Bungalows

The setting was relaxed and the bungalow was clean, with everything needed for a simple, comfortable stay on Koh Chang. They also rent scooters. Great value, and thanks to Henrik and family for looking after us so well. Definitely worth a visit.

I’m leaving this as a warning about how the owner dealt with my request. I booked a week ahead, then realized I wouldn’t make the ferry in time. I let them know five days before and asked to move the dates or cancel. The payment had already been taken six days before, and the owner wouldn’t adjust the booking. After getting paid, the owner was rude in their replies and has kept sending me threatening messages asking me to remove this review. Reading their responses to other reviews, you can see they present themselves as innocent.

A quiet, pretty garden setting and very good value. It’s centrally placed on the island, though you’ll definitely need a bike to get around. Breakfast is available for an extra charge. There’s a nearby beach, but it’s rocky rather than sandy, so you’ll need a scooter to reach the nicer beaches.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the garden is incredible, almost like a proper botanical garden. The owner and his wife are lovely, and it’s a peaceful spot. There isn’t much you can walk to, but you can rent a bike from them. A great choice if you want somewhere laid-back.
