Tropical Paradise Leelawadee Resort

Pascale was the highlight of our stay. She made us feel welcome from day one, knows the island so well and had ideas for anything we needed. We already miss her and can’t wait to see her again. The bungalow staff were also exceptionally friendly. The place is well located, with shops and the beach within walking distance. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere among the guests, too. Our bungalow was spotless and very well equipped: two towels, one for the beach and one for the bathroom, a modern hairdryer, kettle, safe, large fridge, TV and some drinks. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the spacious terrace had comfortable chairs. We might even have had a visit from the sweetest little cat. There’s a shared kitchen stocked with everything guests might need, and the pool is handy for a quick dip, with plenty of sunbeds and shaded spots.

We spent a wonderful month at Tropical Paradise Resort and would happily come back. Pascal and Philippe were kind, easy to talk to and great company at breakfast. They also helped us with the paperwork for our visa extension, arranged our transfer back to Bangkok and shared lots of good restaurant recommendations around the island. The resort grounds are beautiful, peaceful and well maintained, and everything was very clean. Guests can use a shared kitchen, and drinking water is free. Housekeeping came twice a week, with the bed linen changed weekly. Nun, the housekeeping assistant, was always kind and ready to help, so special thanks to her. Shops are about five minutes away, and the beach is a 10-15 minute walk.

The rooms were private and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choice and was among the best I’ve had anywhere. The service was excellent, and you have everything you need for a lovely stay. There are some rocks on the beach, but the resort itself is so peaceful and quiet that I’d gladly return.

We came as a family and loved our stay. The pool was a real plus, and the location made it easy to walk to the market and 7/11, while the property itself stayed quiet and relaxing. The host and staff were open, kind and helpful, with great recommendations from the moment we arrived. The bungalows and garden are beautiful and clearly looked after with a lot of care. Everything was very clean, and you can feel the attention put into the details. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
