The apartment was very comfortable, with fast internet, two TVs, and a bathroom with both a tub and a large shower. The kitchen had the basics, though I would've liked a sharper knife or a serrated one for bread. Its standout feature is the view. Having breakfast out on the balcony was lovely before the sun got too hot. It's a long way from downtown, and most beaches are about a 30-45 minute drive. I'd rent a car to see Phuket at your own pace. For a small fee, you get more flexibility and can save a lot compared with tours visiting the same places. Banana beach was our favorite, around a 30-minute drive away. Our hosts were welcoming, met us when we arrived, and were available on WhatsApp if anything came up.

There's barely anyone around. Only four or five people live across 14 buildings, so if you want quiet and privacy, this is hard to beat. The price is very low, probably because of the isolation. You need a bike or car to go anywhere, since there's nothing to do here without one. I lived here from February to May 25. The owner is rumored to be going bankrupt, and the place feels almost abandoned. Water and electricity stayed on the whole four months. Staff regularly cleaned the grounds and entrances, and you can hire a cleaner for 1,000 baht. The pools are neglected. The apartments are 60-70 square meters, with two rooms, huge bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a very large bedroom. These are unedited photos taken from the first-floor balcony at different times of day.

We picked this hotel for its location, but it was run-down, the breakfast was terrible, and the cleaning was poor. There's a highway nearby too.
