Ao-Nang Top View Hotel

At 32 eur/n, it felt like a good deal for the quiet location. The rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors look out toward greenery and have a sea view. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The staff were excellent, always ready to answer questions or help arrange excursions, boat transfers, and taxis. The hotel is on a side street, so nights were quiet, yet the beach and busy shopping and restaurant area were only a five-minute walk away. We'd happily stay again and highly recommend it.

Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel sits just off the Main Street, so it was noticeably quieter than many nearby places, while still being close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. For the price we paid, what we got was fair. I'm not sure why it has such a low rating, but I wouldn't expect more at that price.

We were surprised by the negative reviews because our stay was lovely. It's about three minutes from the beach, and the location felt just right. The rooms had clearly been refurbished recently and were spacious, with a new bathroom and a comfortable bed. The air conditioning looked old but worked fine. The TV was very dated, though we didn't need one anyway. Of the many hotels we stayed in around Thailand over the past weeks, this was among the cleanest, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. When we checked out, our transfer had a problem even though we'd booked online. The receptionist was really helpful and called the company for us. We'd definitely recommend staying here.
