Supicha Pool Access Hotel

The staff are amazing, and the room was fairly spacious with a great bed. But the bathroom plumbing needs work, and the pool has a serious mosquito problem. From the ground floor you can see a clear layer of mosquito eggs floating on the water. The location was my biggest problem. Motorists often rev their engines on the road next to the hotel, and the noise sounds like gunshots. It woke me up five times a night, and I spent the whole vacation exhausted because of those people.

The stay left me very disappointed. At first the hotel looked nice, with two or three women welcoming us at reception, and an employee brought our luggage to the room. After that, the problems piled up. The air conditioner made loud, disturbing noises that kept me from sleeping. There were lots of mosquitoes too, with a lake on the other side of the hotel. The room had no TV with YouTube or Netflix. Wi-Fi was awful, hard to connect to, and capped at two devices. To get online, you had to go to reception for a card with the login and password. The advertised laundry service wasn't accessible, and the gym wasn't really usable: one basically useless bench, a broken treadmill, and a stationary bike just sitting there. The bar closes at 3:00 PM, and you can only buy beer or snacks at reception. The location is very poor, and the doors let through so much hallway noise. I didn't expect to be this let down.

Pool access was good, but the service staff and breakfast were very poor. There were very few breakfast choices and no omelette station, and none of the staff seemed to understand or speak English. The air conditioning was so loud and noisy it made sleeping difficult, and there were lots of mosquitoes because of the lake across from the hotel. There was no TV with YouTube or Netflix. The laundry service wasn't accessible, while the gym was just a mostly useless bench, a treadmill that didn't work, and a stationary bike left standing there.

The area is a little secluded, but peaceful. We had a great time: our room was amazing, and the staff made us feel welcome and looked after. We even got an upgrade.
