The garden setting is pretty, and the bed was comfortable with a decent shower. It’s clearly well run, and the owner was helpful. You’ll need about a 10-minute walk to reach the beach, though, and light sleepers might be bothered by the free-roaming chickens.

The room had everything we needed, including a mosquito net and fridge, and it was lovely. We felt safe staying here, and Steven & Swati appreciated all the help. The staff are always smiling and seem ready to sort out whatever service you need. It’s easy to see why the place gets 4.9 stars: markets, Seven Eleven, the beach, and pretty much everything else are close by. Just book here if you want a comfortable base for your trip to Koh Lanta.

There are restaurants and bars all around, and Salatan is about a 10-minute motorcycle ride away. The room itself is simple but spotless and relaxing, with plenty of space, a bathroom, and air conditioning. There’s also a terrace where you can sit in the evening. The host was super friendly 😀.

For the price, this is outstanding value. The beds and pillows are amazingly comfortable, the air conditioning is powerful, and the gardens are lovely. It’s also conveniently located, very clean, and the personal service is great. I can’t recommend it enough. Tip: book your second night directly with the host.
