We stayed at salatan resort with my wife and our two-year-old son, and it felt like our own little paradise. The owner and staff were warm, caring people who worked hard to make our stay memorable. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book again if we return to Koh Lanta. The room was cleaned every day, with water and toiletries provided. Although the property is a little older and dated, it was very well looked after and clean. You could see how much care they took with everything. The pool and views were lovely, and the area was quiet while still having easy access to the main road. The staff were lovely and attentive, and helped arrange tours, transfers, and rentals with big smiles. The international breakfast was basic but decent, and the Thai-style breakfast changed daily, so there was lots of variety. 10/10.

I wanted somewhere simple and clean to unwind, and this place suited me well. The service was friendly, and it had a homey feel, almost like visiting relatives in another country. We stayed four nights in a beachfront bungalow and loved sitting on our own terrace, watching the beautiful beach and the changing tides. There was also a pool for swimming. Breakfast was available, with eggs, Thai food, toast, juice, and tea or coffee. You can rent a motorbike, though we walked to the pier for dinner and to buy fruit.

The owners were the friendliest people we met. They made us feel like we were on holiday with our grandma and grandpa. It's a seven-minute walk to the Streetfood Market and close to the centre, but still far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet.

The bungalows are simple and a bit old, but they're clean and well cared for. Our two-year-old son was happy here, and we felt like we'd found a little paradise. The owners and staff are wonderful, and the whole place has such a peaceful, relaxing feel. At first I wasn't sure this was the right choice. A few days later, we wished we'd stayed here for the whole trip. Now it's already time to check out. If we come back to Koh Lanta, this is where we'll stay.

The views were beautiful, our bungalow was gorgeous, and the service was excellent. We absolutely loved our stay at Salatan, a lovely family-run business. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely come back.
