The owners were so kind and supportive. We stayed with my parents for a few amazing days, and the bungalows had the basics we needed and just the right island feel. It’s about a five-minute walk to the beach, which I thought was already great for relaxing without chasing after supposedly better beaches. The location also puts you about halfway between the island’s main points of interest: Saladan, Old Town, Mu Koh Lanta National Park, and Bamboo Beach.

The family running the hotel are so nice. I rented a scooter and booked a boat to Koh Lipe through them, and every morning the wife brought me sweet rice and jelly snacks. The little bungalow was lovely, with good air conditioning, and the beach was right across the street.

We loved the south of the island, so quiet and beautiful, and being in the middle of the island made it easy to get around. We rented the owner’s motorbike and could reach anywhere in under 20-25 minutes. There’s also an amazing restaurant a three-minute walk along the beach, and plenty to do nearby. We stayed in the bungalow for 10 days and had a great time. For the price, it’s definitely worth it: AC, a mini fridge, a small terrace, and a private bathroom. The family who own the place are extremely kind and helpful. They did my laundry and contacted people for the four-island tour. Thank you so much! The shower often got clogged, and bring earplugs because rain gets loud enough to make it hard to sleep at night.

The rooms are basic, but the location is fantastic for a relaxing holiday. It’s right in the middle of the island, so you can easily get to all the beaches by scooter. The beach in front of the hotel is lovely too, with a great sunset view. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars with very good food. My favorite place to stay in Koh Lanta.
