The room was roomy and comfortable to sleep in, with a balcony, and for this price it’s very good value. The place is friendly and well located near Walking Street Market, with a 7-Eleven at the entrance to the alley. Walking to the beach takes about 20 minutes, which isn’t as far as you might think, and you can also take an island taxi with a sidecar if you prefer. If you’re looking for somewhere to visit, ask the hotel first, since they may be able to offer a much cheaper price.

The service was awful. I left my laundry there and they lost it. I was polite about it because these things happen, even though it’s annoying. When I came back the next day, they wouldn’t even talk to me. I found that outrageous and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

I booked through Agoda, but the owner had closed the hotel. It’s on hold, and I can’t get in touch. Be warned, it may be closed even though Agoda still lets you book.
