I felt completely safe here as a woman traveling alone. The owner, housekeeper and even the gardener were all warm, friendly and relaxed. The facilities were extremely clean and comfortable, and the price was hard to beat. It’s near the main road, around a 15-minute walk to long beach, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close by. Go up the hill and you’re surrounded by nature. This is exactly the kind of peaceful place I’d been looking for on a beautiful island like Koh lanta.

The owners were so kind and went out of their way to help when I lost something. I stayed for a few weeks and loved it. It’s at the top of a hill, with lovely gardens and especially beautiful sunset views. The beach, 7-11, restaurants and tuk tuk drivers are all about a five-minute walk away. There’s parking for cars and bikes at the top if you need it. The place is screened from insects but still light and breezy. It has aircon, ceiling fans, a comfortable bed, a good shower and kitchen, and daily cleaning if you want it. Highly recommended.

We first booked four nights, then added four more after our second night. It was just what we needed after the chaos of the city: a peaceful place with beautiful grounds. The hosts were lovely, and they left big bottles of fresh filtered water for us every day, which was a nice bonus. It’s tucked away from the main road but still easy to get to everything we needed.
