For a short stay, it’s a budget option, but there are quite a few downsides. I stayed twice in the same room, with a short break between visits. I wouldn’t usually leave a bad review over a few hairs or a room that wasn’t perfectly clean, but when I returned, the sheets and blanket had the same stains as before, plus new ones. It seemed clear they hadn’t been changed. The room is open on three sides, so it feels more like a hostel. You can hear other guests in their rooms, using the bathroom, or walking around, and light comes through as well. The mattress was completely worn out, and I could feel every spring, which was uncomfortable at times. There was also some mold in the bathroom. The owner is a friendly older man. If you ask him in person, the price can be lower than on Agoda, sometimes by 30, 50, or even 100 baht a night. Maybe it depends on how much he likes you, who knows 🤷♂️. The WiFi worked well, but the restaurant seemed inconsistent about pricing, sometimes charging 60 or 80 baht for the same dish.

The room was tiny and so hot that I couldn't even keep the door closed. It felt more like a partition in a hallway than a proper room, and spending time there was especially difficult after noon. There was no AC, the fan didn't work, and there was no lift, sleeper, soap, or water. Not recommended, 0/10.

I left within ten minutes of arriving. The sheets had several stains, the toilets were unsanitary, and the walls stopped short of the roof, so there was no privacy. When I raised the dirty bedding with the owner, he told me I could stay elsewhere because I expected too much for the price. He refused to refund the advance nights I had booked and told me to contact the booking platform. The platform said the host was responsible, so I got no money back. Be aware, this place is a scam.

Even at a low price, this wasn't good. The shared toilet was dirty, and they could at least clean the place. Tourists get dropped off by the pier here and then leave right away. I wouldn't come all the way to lanta to stay at this spot.

The restaurant is awesome, and the staff were great too. Try the fish curry and yellow curry, both are authentic and tasty. Great hotel.
