I Talay Lanta

The warm hospitality is what stands out most, and the rooms are spacious and absolutely clean. The apartment feels both exotic and comfortable. Old Town is the best choice on the island if you're looking for a quiet area: it's two minutes from its little walking street and a ten-minute walk from 7-Eleven. A definite 10/10, highly recommended.

The room is a good size, but there's nowhere to store things, with no shelves or other storage. The bedding and bed could use replacing, and a bit of maintenance would help. The staff are very friendly and clean the room daily. It's in a quiet spot close to old town, well placed for exploring lanta's southern tip, and you can easily stargaze without light pollution.

Everything gets quiet around 9pm, so I slept really well. I stayed in rooms 4 and 5, both lovely, with decks and views across the water when it's there. Room 4 has a covered deck, which would be handy in rain or strong sun. Both rooms were very spacious and impeccably clean, perfect for relaxing, reading, or working. It's a wonderful break from the noise and commotion on the beach side, while still within walking distance of Old Town's restaurants. An older family member greeted me when I came to look at the rooms, then a friendly young man who spoke good English welcomed me later. The family kindly brought fruit every day. Thank you all! 🌸
