Klong Khong Garden

It’s a four-minute walk to the beach, and renting a scooter was easy. The owner and staff helped us sort out trips, excursions and travel around the islands, so everything felt effortless. I stayed at Klong Khong Garden in Sala Dan, Koh Lanta, and felt more at home than I have anywhere outside my own home. The owner was lovely and everyone’s hospitality was impeccable. The cozy bungalows were comfortable, and I loved the friendly cats wandering around. There’s an open kitchen with everything we needed, too. A warm, kind place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Koh Lanta for a short stop or a longer holiday. ☀️🏖️

We came for two nights and ended up staying two weeks. The bungalows were lovely and such good value. We rented bikes here the whole time, and there’s a shared kitchen plus free drinking water. Num and Fah were so kind, always giving us free fruit and other things. Thanks so much ❤️

The huts are clean, comfortable and traditionally Thai, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. The location is spot on, and Abu can help arrange pretty much anything you might need in Koh Lanta, from taxis and local information to scooters, day trips and visa information. They have a great range of high-quality scooters, with some of the best prices on the island. Abu and the team at Khlong Kong Gardens made us feel more welcome than we’ve ever felt at a hotel. Their kindness really showed when his family had a BBQ one night and made extra food for all the guests. That’s just how thoughtful they are. I’ve visited Koh Lanta twice and stayed at Kong Khlong Garden both times because we had such a wonderful experience. I’ll be back next year. The bungalow was really cozy and the air conditioning was strong. We liked it enough to extend our stay twice. Booking in person costs less than booking online.
