The receptionist was really nice, and there's a Mini Market beside the place plus a nice cafe shop along the way to the beach. It's about a 12-minute walk to the beach. The rooms are fine for sleeping and showering, and the price is budget-friendly. Just know there's no soundproofing, so a noisy neighbor will be a problem.

TK at reception handled just about everything, from arranging my Phi Phi Island trip for around 1400 baht to lending me his bike for a couple of days in phuket for around 250 baht. I rode to karon beach, kata beach, cape prom thep, and rawai beach. The Phuket roads are steep, winding ghat sections, so be careful on a bike or in a car. The property is in a handy spot for Bangla market, patong beach, and Malin plaza, right on the road with a 7/11 next door. My room, 404 on the 4th floor, had a good view, good wifi, a cozy bed, and clean room and bathroom. Housekeeping came every day, and laundry cost 50 baht per kg. There's no lift, so getting to the 4th floor was easy enough for a young person but could be tough with knee problems. It's a really good budget hotel, and you can bring your thai girlfriend to the room. I paid a 500 baht deposit, refunded at checkout. Go ahead and book without second thoughts.

Our November booking turned into a mess when staff told us on arrival that flooding inside meant there was no room for us. They laughed and offered neither compensation nor help finding somewhere else. Nobody had warned us about the flooding or even apologized. It was especially strange because Agoda still showed rooms available.

Getting around from here is easy, more so than at other nearby motels. But Ikroon next door is better at just about everything. The beds are rock solid but clean. Water works, though the a/c only starts after a few hours, and there's no elevator. The cleaning lady doesn't do much cleaning. Wifi has been down for a week, and nobody seems to care or fix it however many times you ask.
