The biggest problem for me was how much noise came through the walls. I could hear traffic, people talking in the corridor, and guests in the next room. The mattress was far too hard for me, and with the noise I didn’t sleep well. The air conditioning didn’t work very effectively, and there’s no daily cleaning. The curtains don’t block out the light. The towels felt a bit old and rough, and there isn’t much storage, though the bed linen was good and the pillows were okay. I had the king room with a balcony. It was basic but very clean, and had a Smart TV, large fridge, hairdryer, full-length mirror, safe, and kettle. They provided complimentary water, tea, and coffee each day. The balcony was a good size, with two chairs and a table, but faced the road. The shower water was hot, though the pressure came and went. You need to take your shoes off before entering the building. I really loved the cats, especially the black one who visited my room and stayed to play for an hour. 🤗 Check-in was friendly, helpful, and quick, and I appreciated the glass of mango juice. Check-out was friendly and quick too. The location is on a main road, with the Barbers and 7Eleven a one-minute walk away, the beach three minutes away, Koh Lanta Pharmacy six minutes away, and the Market seven minutes away. There are lots of restaurants within a five to ten-minute walk. My rating takes into account the $54 I paid per night. Check-in: 5/5, room: 2/5, location: 4/5, check-out: 5/5, overall: 3/5.
