Koh Lanta Lofts made us want to come back, and we are already heading there again. After a lot of research and several trips around Thailand, our family found this island gem. The place is clean, safe, good-looking, and relaxing for sleeping and hanging out, with easy access to the island. The staff are friendly and courteous. I may never come home!

The apartment was a short walk from the beach, which worked well for us since we had a scooter. We stayed in Loft 2a for three weeks, but the experience was poor. The manager wasn’t available when we arrived, and we couldn’t get in until 4 pm because the cleaning crew was using the place as a break room. Inside, the rooms smelled musty and the closets were moldy. The bathroom was dirty, and the kitchen was badly run down. I had to wash every dish, pan, and pot before using it. The towels and sheets were dirty too, so we had to launder them. The safe didn’t work.

A charming, well-equipped apartment, and it was quiet. The beach is more than 600 metres away, though, and the parking space suits scooters better than cars.
