A cool, rustic place to stay right beside a peaceful beach. The staff were really friendly, and there are good restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a restaurant on site, with nice bamboo beach huts where you can relax.

Mam, her husband, and their children all work at this family-run restaurant, which has traditional bungalows with mosquito nets. The Thai food is fantastic and the service is great. This is our third stay here during our journey writing books about cultural differences. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two weeks and would come back again and again. The little huts are charming, and the service is so good. Some of them need a bit of maintenance, but that’s part of the charm. The people working here are very kind, and the food and drinks are excellent. Mod and Meme are great hosts.

Being right by the beach made this the cheapest place I found in that spot, though reaching the sandy stretch takes about a five-minute walk. The restaurant is charming and the location is great. Still, I only stayed one night because I didn't feel very well treated. The bungalows are very basic and have no AC. I might have been fine with that, but something other than mosquitoes bit me through the night. I was first shown a bungalow with a hammock, then put in one without one. He said the first was already booked, but it stayed empty the whole time I was there. There was also a plainly displayed 4% charge for paying by card, which felt like a gouge.

The hosts are adorable, and the restaurant is very good. The bungalows are comfortable and lovely, right beside the beach on the south end of Long Beach. It's quiet there, with a nice breeze all the time.
