Lantawadee Resort and Spa

Why can’t I give zero stars? The staff were totally unfriendly, and the prices for these disgusting bungalows were outrageous. I’d rather pay 400 Baht more for a comfortable, clean bungalow with air conditioning. There are no words for the mess in the bathroom. I’ve never seen such a terrible, pungent bungalow. I know the price is quite cheap by general standards, but I’m really not exaggerating. You should be paid to stay there. If you want to ruin your holiday, feel free to stay at lanta wadee. Enjoy! The bed was so uncomfortable that we kept waking up with aches. Check-in was unpleasant too, and the staff weren’t nice. The bathroom looked clean, but smelled so bad it made me feel sick. I think it’s because shower water drains right underneath the bungalow. It stinks outside as well. We didn’t pay much, but this was very bad even for cheaper accommodation in Thailand. There’s no way it’s a 3* resort. There’s no spa either, and the only wifi is at the 'reception', not in the room. Just don’t book it and ruin your holiday.

The staff were nice and welcoming, and we’re used to budget accommodation, but we still left. The photos don’t reflect the place at all and look at least 10 years old. There’s no green area with plants or flowers, just concrete. The bathroom looked horrible, with old tiles repainted. You can find looooot better for the price.

We stayed in the cheap bungalows at the back of the garden. It’s a nice place, definitely not a luxury resort, but for 500 bht it was more than OK compared with similar places on Lanta. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes outside at night, though they’ll give you a smoking coil if you ask.
