OYO 75333 Lanta Beach Lodge

We were asked to leave the beach sunbeds because restaurant chairs were going to be set up there. There were plenty of empty seats just behind them, so the request felt unnecessary.

The room was spotless and in a great spot, with a stunning view. Bombam at reception was especially lovely, and the whole staff were helpful and easy to reach.

Being right on the beach was probably the best part of our stay. The hotel itself is basic, though, and the pool sunbeds were very uncomfortable. For the price, I think there are better places along the beach, even if we had received the room we booked. A travel agent in Bangkok arranged the accommodation and, unfortunately, scammed us, so I can't put all the blame on the hotel and staff. We had booked a standard bungalow but were put in a room at the back of the resort, not shown online, which we thought might be staff quarters. It wasn't a bungalow, it was unclean and extremely noisy beside the farm animals. Chickens woke us at 5am every day. The staff weren't kind or helpful, and said nothing could be done. Based on what happened, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

All good, and the staff were really nice. Bombam helped with everything, from getting a taxi to finding a great family trip.
