The fish restaurant at the north end is amazing. The beach is lovely for lounging, though low tide isn't great for swimming.

It was so quiet that the beach almost felt like it belonged to Lanta casa blanca resort, where I spent five nights. The shore is rocky, so bring aqua shoes. In rainy season the waves are big and swimming isn't possible. I can't say what the sea is like in dry season.

Hardly anyone around, and a few little bars and restaurants where you can grab a drink or a meal in the shade. Nice beach.

We were disappointed not to find clear blue water, though maybe it was just that day. There are a few restaurant bars with shady places to sit. In May's low season the bay was almost empty, with around eight people at most in the sea. By late afternoon the tide was high enough to swim, but the cloudy water, rocks, and medium to big waves made us uneasy. It was really only suitable for very confident swimmers.

One of my favorite spots on Koh Lanta. Even at low tide it's really nice, and the bars play relaxing music that's not loud enough to get annoying. It doesn't feel too crowded either.
