The staff were friendly and the service was great. We rented a scooter for a very reasonable 150 B, and a trip to bamboo beach is well worth it. The facilities were excellent too, with a toaster and free chilled and boiling water, coffee, and tea. We could make inexpensive meals using things from the 711 opposite. Our bungalow was quiet, clean, and comfortable, just back from the main road. There was a mosquito net, though we didn’t really need it. The bathroom is open to the outside between the walls and roof, so we found lots of mosquitoes and a friendly frog in there. The small drain kept getting blocked.

The owners are lovely, and the spacious garden is beautiful and well looked after. The bungalow was good value, with a mosquito net, fan, comfortable bed and pillow, and a small patio. There’s a mosque nearby and some traffic noise, but I still slept well.

For 250 Baht, the bungalow was a very cheap, basic place to sleep. It was acceptable, but there was no nice view and the neighbourhood was messy.

Free coffee, water, and Wi-Fi were a nice touch. It’s a great place with great staff and a great location, about a five-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, around halfway along the island.
