The hotel is right on the river and on walking street. Of the river-facing rooms, the second-floor one gives you more privacy than the first-floor room. Check-in was difficult because there’s nowhere to park along walking street. Also, after 5PM you can’t drive to the hotel since the market closes the street to traffic. Our room was small, with a bed, two chairs, and a fridge, but no wardrobe or desk. The staff were friendly but hard to find. You may need to call the number on the sign so someone can meet you with the key. I’d also recommend the restaurant next door to the west: excellent food and service, with good prices.

Unfortunately, the room didn’t meet our expectations. There were ants and a sewer smell out front, and we could hear noise from the shared toilets through the wall. It’s a shame. You’d need a room on a higher floor or farther along the riverfront.

The views were awesome, especially sitting there to watch the sunset. I stayed two nights for the river view, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was quite nice and comfortable, though a little expensive, and the location puts you in the middle of the night market. WiFi worked well. Nobody was there at check-in, so I had to call the number.

Nice view, and breakfast is served at a choice of three outdoor venues. I didn’t get the room shown in the picture.

The river views are breathtaking, and the hotel is very nice. The room was okay, but at 2000 baths I found the price a little high, especially with such a hard bed. For that amount, I think the bed should be more comfortable. That’s my concern. David T.
