Koh Mak Ao Kao White Sand Beach

The beach was wonderful, and the massages at the property were great, probably the best I’ve had in Thailand. Breakfast is small but has plenty to it, with a fresh egg station and a good mix of Western and Thai food. The pool is small but nice, especially as an alternative with kids. Rooms are spacious, and the staff were great and available whenever we needed them. We rented a golf cart from the limited supply at the hotel, and I highly recommend it for getting around. It was BHT 1000 / day. One staff member also let us borrow their fishing rod. There was a crack in the shower roof, and a small Paradise Tree Snake was watching us in there. Staff came over, the snake left on its own, and they fixed the crack. That’s life in Thailand. If you can’t handle that, don’t come to countries like this.

We’d love to return to this little piece of paradise. The resort is peaceful and attractive, with clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and well-kept facilities. The restaurant and bar are good and conveniently on site, and there’s a good gym plus a playroom just for kids. It’s right on the beach, with lovely sunset views. The staff were especially friendly and hardworking, giving us attentive service throughout our stay.

The gardens are gorgeous, the beach is perfect, and the sunsets are incredible. Our bungalow was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. It’s peaceful, and a scooter makes it easy to get around. A nice fit for remote workers, digital nomads, and sports lovers. The restaurant was delicious, and the on-site massages were the cherry on top.
