Koh Mak Homestay

I stayed at Koh Mak Homestay for almost three weeks and had a very pleasant time. The hosts were consistently friendly and helpful. My room was modern and clean, with a fridge, fan, and AC. It’s in a good part of the island, near the beach and some really good restaurants. I’d happily return.

The couple managing the property were lovely and made us feel at home. They even picked us up from the pier. The rooms are great, with a fridge, just-right shower pressure, and AC that works perfectly. You can rent bikes to get around, though the walk to the beach can take 15 minutes. There’s also a great nearby restaurant called Hug something.

Nuu’s guesthouse felt like home while I was on the island, which was just right for travelling solo. She was also really helpful with booking my travel to and from the island. The location is perfect: I explored restaurants farther away, but the best ones I found were within walking distance. Koh Mak is small, so most places are easy to reach on foot, by bicycle, or on a scooter. The room was super comfortable, with great AC, a fan, hot water, a huge fridge, and good wifi. I highly recommend this Homestay for a stay on Koh Mak. Thanks again, Nuu 🥰

The room was clean and a good size, with AC, a fridge, and a comfy bed, and the price was very good for what you got. The calm hosts made the place feel genuinely homely and comforting, and they were so helpful. They had scooters to rent and coffee in the morning. Our host even found and booked all our travel for leaving the island and getting to Bangkok, which was a huge help. When we left, she brought our luggage to the ferry and kindly waited until we were safely off. Thank you, home stay!
