I felt an electric current through the water while showering. Luckily only my hands and arms were under it at the time, because it could have been much worse. I continued to feel tingling in my arms and hands for the whole evening. This is a serious concern with electric shower heaters, which can be dangerous if they're not installed or grounded properly. When I told the staff, they didn't take it seriously, even though I was slightly hurt. They didn't seem to understand the danger, and nobody apologized. The next day I asked to speak with the manager to explain what happened again and warn them that the heaters could put future guests at risk. I was told the manager was off and got only a “thank you for your feedback.” There was no apology or reassurance that anything would be done. The hostel should have the heaters professionally inspected immediately. Future guests shouldn't be put at risk.

The sink was still blocked after two nights, even though I messaged the hostel and then asked again at reception for it to be fixed. The toilet was blocked too, and the other toilet had a broken seat. There were more than eight people in the dorm and not enough toilets. The bathroom was dirty and the shower drained poorly. Someone's pants stayed beside the sink for two days without anyone claiming them, and there was nowhere to hang anything. The bedside table had sand and stains, so it hadn't been cleaned. V messy people from Revolution come to stay here. The hostel has no lock on the door, just 24/7 reception. They didn't reply to my message.

The staff were the worst part of our stay. They were extremely unhelpful, cynical, and laughed in our faces. After two months traveling in Thailand, this was easily our worst hotel experience. I've been traveling across Asia long enough to know what even a decent three-star budget hotel should feel like. We had four rooms, all stinky, dirty, and uncomfortable, directly above a busy nightlife bar. Expect loud party house music until around 3am. Rats kept running over our heads, and we had to deal with a huge one ourselves after it scared my parents half to death. The shower was half decent if you don't mind occasional rat droppings while you bathe. I can imagine a group of 20-year-olds who are always drunk enjoying it because it's near the beach and a lousy party venue. For anyone else, I highly recommend avoiding this cursed hotel at all cost! I'd much rather sleep in a hammock on the beach than in this shamelessly disgusting, smelly, rodent-infested place.

The staff were so kind and amazing, and I saw them deep-clean lots of rooms during our stay, pulling out furniture and cleaning inside drawers. The sheets and towels were clean too, and the AC worked great. The shared bathroom, with two toilets and showers for around 16 rooms, was usually dirty. We wouldn't have booked if we'd known the Agoda site was wrong about a private bathroom. We had to share one. The bed was super uncomfortable, though I guess the rooms may have different mattresses. It was VERY loud at night, especially for a light sleeper, since it's above and across the street from the cabaret show. It was an okay experience overall. Ps, we went into their hostel rooms and they looked sooooo nice and very clean! I'd recommend those over the private room.

Horrible. The rooms were big, but the sink was less than a meter from a bunk bed. There weren't any glass windows, so the bars outside sounded extremely loud the whole time. The beds had no curtains, and the big curtain let almost all the light in. I couldn't charge my phone anywhere within five meters of my bed. And it wasn't even right on the beach.
