Mama Beach Residence

Our garden-facing ground-floor room was such a nice spot. The rooms are basic, as we expected when booking, but ours was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfectly out of the way, and we didn’t experience Phi Phi as a party island there. Breakfast was really good, and the front desk staff were lovely and helpful. One of our favorite stays in Thailand, we’d definitely return.

A safe, clean place in Phi Phi, quiet and away from the crowds. You do have to walk a bit more, and upper floors mean stairs, especially tough with heavy luggage. The laundry service was cheap and convenient, and the breakfast buffet was great.

What happened after we checked out says a lot about the team. I accidentally left my swimwear on the boat, and when the staff found out, they picked it up, arranged a courier, and sent it to me in Bangkok for free. No hesitation or extra charge, just real kindness and care. They also made us feel welcome from the start, with a level of kindness, care, and professionalism that was the best staff experience we’ve had. It’s rare to find people who care this much, and we won’t forget it. A huge thank you to the whole team for making our stay special. We’ll definitely return and recommend the hotel to everyone. The hotel was a calm, relaxing place to stay, with great service and friendly, helpful staff. It is a little far from the bars and nightlife, which was a small downside. We also loved the food at the hotel’s bar and highly recommend it. We booked a boat tour through the hotel, and it was amazing. There were lots of options to choose from and the prices were very good. I’d recommend staying here.
