Phi Phi Banyan Villa

The rooms were amazing, with a comfortable bed, working air conditioning, and a balcony that was a nice place to unwind. Staff were always friendly, and we could get clean towels when we wanted them. Breakfast was included, with a really good full buffet. The pool was 15/10, too. It's central but tucked away from all the Phi Phi chaos. LOVE this place, and I'd highly recommend it if you're coming to Phi Phi.

The way the restaurant manager treated us was the worst part of a very upsetting stay. Around 11 AM, while we were still checked in, we asked for drinking water. She refused, saying it was checkout day, even though my mother and child were both sick. She was rude and aggressive, raised her voice, and showed no empathy. The restaurant staff's attitude was unprofessional too. We had asked politely for a two-hour late checkout because of the illness in our group, but checkout was at 12 PM and the request was denied due to upcoming bookings. We understood and accepted that. What we couldn't accept was being denied basic water before checkout. The bathrooms were clogged and poorly maintained. The property is overpriced for the quality, and they charge heavily for things, with commissions and extra costs often added. Service felt focused on money instead of guests. Phi Phi Banyan Villa failed at basic care and respect. I strongly don't recommend it, especially for families, people traveling with children, or anyone expecting basic courtesy and compassion. There are much better places in Phi Phi that treat guests with dignity.

Our room was spacious, clean, and had a charming old wooden interior, good AC, and a lovely balcony. No mosquitoes either. The garden-like common area felt tucked away, and the bright pool was refreshing on a day away from the beach. This was our second of three nights, and we absolutely love it. The breakfast view is fantastic, especially early in the day. We enjoyed the freshly cooked eggs and omelet, fruit, salad, cereal, and pancakes. You can put together your own cereal bowl or sandwich. There are also plenty of pretty nearby spots for Thai or Western food. It's centrally located but a little away from the main pier traffic. The staff made this stay special. Everyone was kind, patient, and welcoming, and always greeted guests with a smile. I remember one staff member, I think her name was Noi. I've attached their names in the photos. The location is lovely, with a beautiful daytime view and a calm stretch of beach. It's right on the Main Street of Phi Phi island, and it took me only 4 mins to walk to the resort. The rooms were good, cleaned every day, and they changed the drinking water. Breakfast has both continental and Thai options, and you can enjoy it with a great view of the pier, boats, and sea. They also give you a welcome drink, which was okay. Absolute pleasure staying at Phi Phi Banyan Vila. Best place to stay at Phi Phi.
