Nomads Long Beach Phi Phi

The viewpoint is well worth the effort, with breathtaking views over the island and bays. Phi Phi has lovely beaches, clear water and a wonderful island feel. From the beach to the viewpoints, it all feels special. One of the most beautiful places I’ve visited, highly recommended!

Getting to Long Beach takes a bit of effort, either a walk of around 30 minutes or a longtail boat, but it’s worth it. It feels calmer and less crowded than the main Tonsai area, a lovely escape into nature. The sand is soft and white, and the turquoise water is clear, great for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing. I saw colorful fish and sometimes small sharks near the rocks, which made it special. Many people recommend going early in the morning. It’s one of Phi Phi Island’s most beautiful and peaceful spots, a hidden gem for a quiet beach day and a nice view. Highly recommended 🌴✨

Longtail boats from the port to Long Beach are easy to find without arranging ahead, and cost 100 bath p.P. The first day we arrived, the ferry to phi phi was already full, so I recommend buying tickets a day in advance. The last boat back to Phuket leaves at 5pm, so it’s worth going early in the morning. There are restaurants and sun beds for 100 bath. I loved the island, and would recommend spending some time at the beach and enjoying the beautiful nature. Apparently it’s been a bit crowded, and the snorkeling right off the beach wasn’t as spectacular as I’d expected.

It’s about a 20 minute walk from Ton Sai, and a really nice one that’s worth doing. The beach has turquoise water that’s lovely for a swim. There are a few restaurants and bars if you want to get something. Just keep in mind the water level is lower in the afternoon.
