Phi Phi Dream

We only had one night in our plans, though I would've gladly stayed longer. The room was clean and comfortable, and while the bathroom was a bit small, it was easy enough to manage. The manager was really kind and helpful. It's on a quiet street near the viewpoint steps, with the beach and bars just a short walk away.

For a one-star place, our two-night stay turned out better than I expected. It was basic, just as the hotel information said, so the expectations were clear. They even left two bottles of water, plus two soap sachets and two shampoo sachets. The large twin room had two clothes rails with five hangers on each, and both the AC and fan were powerful. It was clean, well located, and very good value for a budget stay. The water smelled, though I suspect that's part of being a small guesthouse on an island.

It's basic and a bit shabby, but clean, so I can't complain much about the place itself. What bothered me was the noise outside starting at 6 in the morning. We usually sleep until 9 or 10, and there wasn't much we could do to block it from inside the room. After the viewpoint, I especially wanted to sleep in before leaving, so it felt a little unfair.

The staff were lovely and helped us arrange trips and transport, and the price was really good. Our room worked well and was nice, although the window had been boarded over from outside, so hardly any daylight came in. It wasn't a big issue for us. The location is great, right by the start of the viewpoint route.
