Rantee View Bungalow

The place itself is nice, but the customer service was awful. Our booked boat taxi never showed up, and the staff made no effort to sort out another option or even apologize. No one spoke English either. I'd avoid it.

Don and his family were the kind of hosts we wanted, warm and helpful without hovering. The food was excellent, too. We stayed three nights in a fabulous bungalow, with a breathtaking view from the room and a bathroom looking out over the ocean. Waves lulled us to sleep every night. My partner and I would definitely come back. A lovely pick if you want to relax away from the tourist crowds.

The path through the jungle to town was a pleasure to walk, shaded by trees and full of birdsong and lush plants. It wasn't difficult, and the quiet along the way was lovely. The place has a romantic feel, with magical sunsets and waves in the background, so it works for a peaceful break or a getaway for two. I especially loved the sunrises. The soft light and colors over the water, with the morning silence, felt incredible. I also kayaked along the coast at sunrise. The clear, calm water, cliffs, and thick greenery made it memorable. The beach is beautiful and peaceful, with soft sand and clear water. I swam for a long time; the seabed was clean, sloped gently, and had no sharp rocks. From the start, the staff were kind and helpful, and I felt welcome. I had a few wonderful days at Rantee View Bungalow, one of the best stays of my life. I'd recommend it if you want to get away from everyday life in a beautiful natural setting.

The hosts were kind, attentive, and helpful, and there are laundry facilities. We ate delicious fresh local dishes at the resorts, especially the very strong lime Tom Yum soup 🤤. You can also rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard, which fits the quiet surroundings nicely. Rantee View on Koh Phi Phi was an unforgettable stay. The beach was so quiet and nearly empty that it felt like having a private island. Only guests of two resorts can get to this area, which keeps it peaceful and private. Reaching Rantee View means taking a walk through the jungle, which adds a special touch to the trip. Highly recommend it for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.
