Pasai Cottage

The owners are lovely people, and this is a very nice place to stay, close to the beach. It's good for a swim at high tide, and there are decent bars and somewhere to eat just a short walk away. For a small fee, the owners will do your laundry and have it ready the next day. There were a lot of mosquitos, and our net didn't seem to help much. The bathroom also had no warm water. I don't usually complain about those things, but the room wasn't among the cheapest, so I think it should offer a bit more for the price. I'd stay again.

For the area's prices, this was cheap, so I wasn't looking for luxury. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms had electricity. A desk fan did an okay job cooling the spot where I sat. The staff were okay, but not especially welcoming. The mosquito net was old and had a couple of holes, though it still did the job. Food was okay, but there were better options nearby for the price. If I came with someone else, I'd spend a bit more for somewhere nicer.

The location is excellent, right by the beach, with little shops and carts nearby for food, clothes, snacks, water, and other supplies. The free breakfast was great, and although the website didn't mention WiFi, there was some in the lobby. The bungalows are really cute, and I'd definitely stay again. Mosquitos were the main annoyance. The fan and bed net helped a lot, but the bathroom was often covered in them. I'd suggest adding something to the dining area and lobby to keep mosquitos away while people eat or hang out.

I only stayed one night, but spent the time on the beach, looking out at the islands on the horizon. The view from Pasai Beach is incredible. The double room was beautifully kept, and the location was fantastic. Thanks for a great trip!
