Tha Khao Bay View

We came back after three years, and it was definitely worth the return. The whole lovely family running the place gives it a homelike feel. The view is incredible, and the food is delicious. Try the local dishes, especially the salads, which are amazing!

We only came across this place near the end of our stay, which was a shame because we would have eaten here more if we’d found it sooner. It’s tucked away, with just a small sign by the road, and you follow a path and some stairs to reach the restaurant. The view is beautiful, the food was very good, and the people and service were lovely. Dinner was so good that we came back for breakfast the next day. Good prices too. I’d definitely return.

Perched above the bay, the restaurant feels like a tree house and makes a magical spot for a date night or a family meal. The ambience and staff were wonderful, and everything felt top notch. We tried the steamed fish and shrimp glass noodles, and every dish we had was full of flavour. Some of the best food we ate in Thailand!

We had lunch with a breathtaking view across the whole bay to the Ko Hang Islands on the horizon. The food was incredibly tasty and affordable, so we strongly recommend it. The entrance is a little hidden, so look for a sign saying "Restaurant" and head up the stairs.
