Our room had everything we could need, with plenty of space, a luxurious feel, and lovely open views over the sea and beaches. The grounds and huge swimming pool were breathtaking and kept to a very high standard. Getting there was easy: we came by speedboat to the pier and took the hotel transfer straight to the resort entrance. The staff greeted us with flowers and singing, which made for such a heartfelt welcome. The food was excellent, with a huge range at breakfast and dinner and outstanding service from the waiters and the rest of the team. There were also themed dinners each evening, with food from different countries, including Mexican and Thai nights. Mr. James, who oversees food and beverage, was exceptional: warm, professional, helpful, and always smiling. A heart-warming vacation that left us wanting more. Score: 100. ♥️

I arranged a private marriage proposal for my friend here, and it went perfectly. The couple were so happy, and the whole atmosphere felt magical. The hotel is stunning, but what made the occasion work so well was the team. Everyone went above and beyond to help. Huge thanks to Junior, who coordinated the event with such care, professionalism, and attention. If you need a beautiful venue with staff who truly care about their guests, this is it.

The Thai dinners were a real highlight for us. Every meal had authentic flavours, looked beautiful, and was memorable. Chef Ton’s talent and passion came through in each one. The service at Anantara Koh Yao Yai felt sincere throughout our stay. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our Room and Villas was beautifully designed, with elegance and modern luxury in the details. The private pool and fragrant flowers in the room made it feel especially thoughtful. The resort itself is peaceful, surrounded by tropical greenery and looking out over the Andaman Sea. We were welcomed warmly and professionally from the moment we arrived, and the dining was just as impressive, with fresh, flavourful dishes served in beautiful settings. Anantara Koh Yao Yai feels like a calm retreat filled with natural beauty and outstanding hospitality. I’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for a quiet, luxurious stay with heartfelt service.
