The beachside bar and restaurant were great, with amazing food and genuinely excellent service. The staff all seemed so happy, and you could feel that care in the hospitality. Top looked after us throughout and was especially kind and helpful. Htien also took good care of us at the beach, and it was lovely to be greeted by the hotel manager Alti when we arrived. The setting is stunning, right on a white sandy beach with views across the bay and a rainforest feel. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had a very comfortable bed. The outdoor space with its plunge pool and seabirw was perfect for a peaceful, relaxing stay. From the warm welcome and smiles at arrival onward, the service was exceptional. This was the highlight of our time in Thailand, and such a special place. We’ll come back and recommend it to family and friends.

Being close to a village made our trip much better. It had an authentic feel and the things we needed nearby, from laundry and massages to bars and delicious local food. At the hotel, the small touches were thoughtful: our own service host, reserved places on the beach, and chilled water. Towels and water were always available by the pool and beach, and the security guard helped us feel safe. Ping took such good care of us, always with a smile. The whole team was lovely and ready to help. We can’t wait to return!

I’ve stayed at several great five-star resorts in Thailand, and this one has been the best by far. The breakfast was a 10/10, with both a buffet and à la carte choices, enjoyed with our toes in the sand and the sound of waves on the white beach. I also loved practicing on the yoga platform above the spa. The garden with ponds and stairs leading to massage rooms, saunas, and meditation platforms was a pleasure to explore. From the private lounge at Koh Samui Pier and the friendly welcome to checking in from a beach chair overlooking the water, everything felt close to perfect. They handled our bags, and the room had a private pool and a beautiful bathroom with huge windows and garden and sea views. Leaving with that “I want to come back asap” feeling says it all. The team really cares about guests having a great experience. Keep going.

Anantara has all the makings of a Thai paradise: magical villas, wonderful nature, and incredibly kind staff. Our housekeeper Pong tidies our room every day and always finds a way to surprise us. For Valentine’s Day, she made two little swans for my husband and me. I had to take a photo. It touched our hearts and reminded us to make time for each other on a day about love.
