Baan Kiao

The beach right beside Baan Kiao was our favorite of the four we visited on the island. Fine white sand and clear water made it lovely for relaxing and spending time with the family. We’re two parents with daughters aged 7 and 9, still young at heart, and we like peaceful places and pretty beaches. A bit of fun or an occasional party is fine with us too. The restaurant stood out: excellent food at very reasonable prices. The breakfasts were great as well, and our bungalow was cozy, comfortable, and well maintained. We also appreciated how quickly the receptionist arranged a taxi or motorbike whenever we needed one. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home with their warmth and care. We rarely return to the same place, but we already know we’d like to come back to this resort. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a memorable stay.

We could easily have stayed longer after our week here. Our upper room was peaceful, and everyone was kind and quick to help with whatever we needed. There’s a nice pool and restaurant, and the beach is an easy walk away. A great stay in Haad Yao, I’d recommend Baan Kiao. 🙏🏻💖

The staff are absolutely amazing, and this feels like a little paradise, especially for families. The family bungalows around the pool are roomy and comfortable. The beach, a very good one, is just 40 meters away. It’s clean, the AC works, and breakfast is decent: one main dish, a drink, bread, and some salads. The restaurant serves food all day until 21:30. Location is the main thing to consider. There’s a 7/11 nearby, along with some coffee shops that are easier to reach by walking along the beach. During the day you’ll find massages and bars on the beach. To go anywhere else, you’ll need a car or scooter.

The private beach and pool were both lovely, and I really liked our bungalow with its hammock. Tom & Sera Na were delightful, fun to see each morning at breakfast. We were welcomed with roselle juice, and the staff were so sweet. The food was delicious too!
