Even though I kept paying the monthly rent while my belongings were still in the room, the landlord went in while I was away, moved everything out, and rented it to someone else without telling me. I had nowhere else to store my things, and I knew nothing about what had happened. If you're looking for the worst kind of stay, this place is an option.

The owners and their wife were unpleasant to deal with. They shouted loudly at night and early in the morning, making it hard to sleep. The rooms are old and need work, and the internet barely works, with no connection at all at times. There isn't a beach here either, just a ditch running into the sea and lots of rubbish in the water. I wouldn't recommend it.

After I got sick and was hospitalized, I came back and found my wallet missing from inside. It had my bank cards and passport in it. There was no surveillance, and the landlord showed no interest in helping with the missing things. Instead, they were disrespectful and threatened to make me leave if I couldn't pay rent on time. I was physically unable to move because of my illness, but they still berated me about the wallet. A nightmare, and I strongly advise against renting here.

Rules for the shared kitchen led to rude, aggressive behavior from the owners, which made the stay uncomfortable.

The prices were really fair, and there was a great view of Samui. The Thai people living there were lovely. It's one of the better budget choices on the island, and I'd ask them directly instead of booking online.
