The TALAY

I spent one night at The Talay for a moms’ retreat, and it was just right for a reset. The peaceful rooms are so thoughtfully put together that they more than make up for the limited amenities. The hotel is a 50-meter walk from the beach, with a lovely pool and a very simple outdoor breakfast. It’s a minimalist escape done well, quiet and restorative. The room details felt carefully chosen, from the excellent sheets and pillows to the stone-like bathroom tiles and kombucha in the mini fridge. The whole place has that simple, calming barefoot luxury feel.

The whole team was friendly and gave us very good service. Thanks to Jenny, Tim, and everyone else. We were just 15 seconds from the beach, with massages and restaurants nearby, and the place never felt too crowded. We could relax either by the sea or at the hotel pool. Breakfast was really good and healthy, with oat milk, homemade granola, and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea were available all day. The room and facilities were great for doing yoga, and Jenny helped arrange whatever activities we wanted. We were very happy and will definitely come back.

The staff made a real difference, especially Hana, Laura, and Tim. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Thank you, and see you again soon! The TALAY is peaceful, new, and spotless, with the ocean and nature always audible. The pool is gorgeous, the sunbeds are lovely, and the dining area is very nice. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, too. It’s just a minute or less from a beautiful, wide, clean beach that’s perfect for long walks, with some nice smoothie spots nearby where you can sit by the water. We also loved the idea of encouraging guests to walk barefoot and feel closer to nature. Highly recommended, and I hope the hotel keeps doing well.

Our family spent three days at Talay on Natai Beach, and it was peaceful from start to finish. The uncrowded shore, tall tropical trees, and sound of the waves made it feel like our own little stretch of paradise. Getting a massage in a sheltered hut right on the beach was especially lovely. We also found a fun surf spot by the pier, about 1 km down the beach, which became an unexpected family highlight. Back at the resort, the pool was everyone’s favorite. Our girls spent hours swimming and playing while we relaxed. The rooms felt fresh, spotless, and welcoming, and I slept better than I have anywhere else in Thailand. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented each morning, and the service was warm, genuine, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back for another nature-filled, restful getaway.
