Buri Rasa Village Phangan Hotel

The bay is peaceful and mellow, with beautiful sunrise views. I loved getting up early to watch the sun come up, swim in the sea, then take a short walk to their delicious breakfast. The setting makes it a lovely place to switch off and relax. Service and accommodation are high quality, but the place never felt pretentious like some five-star hotels can. Everyone on staff was kind. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. Our room also had cookies and a few other little surprises, which made it feel extra nice. The hotel is in a quiet spot by a beautiful beach, but town is still just a few minutes' walk away. We thought the location was perfect and would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

We had a sea-view room with our own sunbeds, so beach days felt effortless and there was no need to hurry out in the morning. The hotel sits on a quiet, charming street, with lovely cafés and restaurants nearby, which made the location just right. Breakfast was a treat: over four mornings the selection changed each day, with fresh, flavourful Thai dishes and other options, all beautifully prepared. The whole stay felt warm and thoughtfully put together. I left already wanting to return.

Buri Rasa was a lovely place to relax, and the staff went out of their way to make things comfortable for us and our four-month-old daughter. A couple of things worked especially well: they arranged a baby car seat for our taxi across the island, and lent us a bottle steriliser for the whole stay. We also took the direct speedboat from Samui Airport. The sea was calm, so our baby did fine with sound protection, though bigger waves could make that ride more stressful. We’d absolutely recommend the hotel for a restful stay in beautiful surroundings.
