Charu Bay Villa Seaview

We especially liked having a kitchen. It was great for making breakfast each day and a few dinners too. The villas have all the amenities you need, and the private setting is lovely. Highly recommended.

The view is incredible, impossible to capture properly in words or photos. The place looked even more beautiful in person than it did in the pictures, and communication was easy and pleasant. I’d recommend it to all my friends.

Halfway through our stay we moved from the Ocean Penthouse to the Sunset Bay Villa. It was just as beautiful, right on the beachfront with direct access to calm, shallow water and wonderful sunset views each evening. Sitting on the terrace so close to the sea was incredibly peaceful. We started in the modern, spacious and clean Ocean Penthouse, with lovely ocean views and thoughtful details that made it feel luxurious. Waking up to the sunrise over the bay was a great experience. Both villas were well maintained, and the staff were warm, helpful and ready with recommendations and local travel tips. Charu Bay Villas is quiet and serene, but still close enough to explore the island. We had an amazing stay on Koh Phangan. Thanks so much to Ratchi, Bee and everyone at Charu Bay. We highly recommend it.

The Charu Bay Penthouse Villa was amazing, with lots of space, a private pool table, an outdoor whirlpool and direct beach access. You could take one of the three stand up paddle boards, though only one was usable and inflated. The woman on site was really friendly. Whenever we arrived on our scooter and saw each other, we’d stop and chat for a bit. The road to the place can get quite muddy after rain, so you need transport or enough confidence to ride a scooter there yourself. If you have some scooter experience, it’s actually not too bad. We never fell or got stuck.
