The staff made the stay feel relaxed and welcoming. Everyone we met was kind and warm, and their friendliness really stood out. We also ate incredibly well at the restaurant every day. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor and exceeded our expectations. It became one of the highlights of our stay at Explorer Koh Phangan. We had a wonderful time and would happily return. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

The grounds are beautiful, with a lovely pool and beach, and the location is handy with a 7/11 right outside. We enjoyed the free bingo and cocktail-making class. Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices for vegetarians and vegans as well as everyone else. Our room was beautiful, and we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary upgrade. On arrival, they welcomed us with a refreshing drink, a flower garland and a cold towel, thoughtful touches that made it feel relaxing right away. The staff were friendly, attentive and easy to talk to, which gave the place a warm, personal feel. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The beach right in front of the hotel was the best part. Eating Pad Thai with a cold Singha as the sun went down and a warm Thai breeze came through was absolute bliss. There’s also a brand-new 7-Eleven directly across the road, built August 2025, which made essentials and late-night snacks easy to get. Breakfast was included, fresh, varied and healthy, with lots of thought put into the options. The egg station was a highlight, with eggs cooked to order, perfect for someone like me who goes to the gym and tracks protein. The rooms were spotless and comfortable after a day out or relaxing. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and the welcome drinks and big smiles set a great tone. A special mention to Aung, Moe, Yaya and Tata, who made a real difference during my stay. Haad Rin is small but has a good selection of bars, restaurants and massage parlours. It’s about a five-minute taxi ride or a 15-minute walk to Haad Rin Pier, with scooter rentals nearby for 250-300 baht a day. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Phangan.

We had such a lovely six-night stay. The beach strip is quiet and beautiful, and the pool is fun and relaxing. The bar team couldn’t be better, and the service was incredible. They always greeted us with a smile and made us feel like part of their family. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back :))
