Surrounded by lush jungle greenery, the place feels gorgeous and secluded, yet the nearest road, with plenty of restaurants and breakfast spots, is only a three-minute drive away. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a fridge, kettle, bedside lamps, and sockets by each bed. We loved the cushioned little balcony in the evenings, though bring something for the mosquitos. It was one of my favourite stays in Thailand, and I really can’t fault it. I’d happily come back.

There were nine of us, and the family who run the place were extremely nice. The setting is ideal, quiet and tucked away. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re just right for sleeping.

The hilltop pool, with its stunning view, was a lovely bonus, and the rooms were clean with everything we needed. The owners’ cute dogs are clearly treated very well, too. It was a wonderfully relaxing stay in a quiet, nature-filled spot. The grounds are well cared for, with beautiful plants growing all around. It was my fiancé’s birthday while we were there, and a resident gardener helped me choose a beautiful bouquet as a surprise for him. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name, but I hope he sees this and knows how grateful I am.

The staff and owner are very friendly, and the bungalows with kitchens are spaced apart enough to give guests privacy. It’s a calm, restful spot in the jungle. There are few shops and restaurants nearby, but that also means no car or crowd noise. The floors are cleaned every five days, which isn’t something you often see in Thailand. Other places have their drawbacks too, so compared with them, I’d say this is one of the best hotels on the island.
