We stayed at Moon Travel Hotel in Koh Phangan, and John made it a special experience. His warmth, cheerful manner, respect, and genuine kindness came through from the start. He listens and gives recommendations because he wants you to enjoy the island. At first, they might sound like standard hotel suggestions, but every place we found through him was more authentic, beautiful, and memorable than the last. John was such a lovely host. We had a great stay and only wish we’d stayed longer. The room had everything we needed, including good AC, a comfortable bed, a big fridge, and even a balcony. I’d recommend it 100%. Thanks for the good days, John!

John and his wife are simply the best. You can tell they care about the place and the island, and enjoy what they do. They really keep this stay to a high standard. The rooms have everything you need, the view is good, and the location is very, very good. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in koh phangan.

We stayed four nights and went to the halfmoon party. The host was the best and shared so many great tips for things to do around the island. Checkout was easy, which was great. Our only note is that if we’d stayed longer, we would have asked for the room to be cleaned. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit!

Both owners were kind, informative, and helpful, and made us feel welcome and safe. The rooms are big, with a large fridge, air conditioning, balcony, and a nice view of the palms. It’s on the main road, so catching a taxi is easy, and you can reach everything on the island. The beach is across the road, about a five-minute walk; Infinity lounge is there too, with a pool, DJ, and amazing sunsets. There’s bike rental next door as well. I highly recommend it!
