We spent 20 days in these lovely seaside bungalows and had a fantastic stay. It’s right by the water, so peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The two ladies running the property were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help whenever we needed anything. A quiet little gem for a relaxing beach getaway, highly recommend.

The check-in woman was lovely, and the room was spacious with great aircon, right on the seafront. On my last night, though, I reported a bathroom leak and a horrible smell behind the toilet at 8am. I kept checking back because nothing had been done. At 7pm I was told it couldn’t be fixed that night and I’d need to change rooms, so I just packed to check out the next morning. The person I reported the problem to wasn’t very helpful. Laundry prices were confusing too: first I was told 50 baht, then the next morning it was 120 because it was over 2 kilos, for two swim shorts and one lightweight pair of track pants. If you need laundry, do it yourself at the top of the street.

A hammock outside the room is a nice touch, and there’s a little private beach platform for enjoying the sea. The place is fairly central and good value if you’re planning to explore the whole island, but keep in mind you must rent a scooter.

The location worked well, with the beach nearby and a gas station, Thai food, and a 7-Eleven right next door. We were mostly happy with the place: the beds were comfortable, it was very clean, and the terrace hammock was great. Laundry was easy and cost 60 Baht per kg. The bathroom had no closed windows, so it got noisy throughout the accommodation, even with the bathroom door shut. We’d read negative comments about their scooter rental, which put us off renting one there.
