We didn't stay at the bungalows, but had lunch at his bar and the food was really good. The owner had picked us up in a pickup truck from a bar near the port and brought us to rent scooters. They came without a full tank, so we had to buy gas from him, and he said to return them full. After lunch he said he wanted to get a bamboo tattoo at his son's place. He's clearly a money-making machine, but behaved himself despite all that.

It’s clean and nicely placed along the coast, handy for getting into town and touring the island. At 600 Bat a day, I found it reasonably priced.
