We had a wonderful stay in April 2025 and would happily come back. The staff were kind and made us feel welcome. I don’t know whether the owner is still the same. The garden and beach are beautifully cared for, so I understand why they try to keep random visitors from wandering through those areas. My one wish is for a pump to improve the shower pressure.

I wouldn’t want to stay somewhere with owners like this, and I’d urge others to think very carefully before booking here. They seemed to treat the whole area as theirs, including the beach, apparently believing that people who aren’t guests at their hotel aren’t allowed there. I found the owners very inhospitable.

My husband and I came by to see the beach and were yelled at and told to leave the property straight away. As another review pointed out, beaches in Thailand are, as far as I know, all...

I was just trying to see the beach when I was told to leave. That was rude. Thailand’s beaches, especially the sand and shoreline between the high and low tide marks, are generally considered public property under Section 1304 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. They form part of the public domain for everyone’s benefit. So hotels and other parties can’t legally own the beach or permanently prevent people from using it.

At the beach you can hear the waves softly. I love the relaxed atmosphere here, and it feels less touristy than most other parts of the island.
