Taya's place

I didn't stay at the hostel, just rented a bicycle. About half an hour into the ride, the brake snapped, and the tire started rubbing against the metal frame until the bike couldn't be ridden. I had to walk it the rest of the way to Malibu beach, then take a taxi back to the hostel. The owner was incredibly kind and offered to refund the full rental cost. That left me with such a good impression that I still give the place two thumbs up!

I ate at the restaurant every day, though I didn't stay at the guesthouse. The food was tasty and fresh, portions were big, and prices reasonable. It's a family-run guesthouse and restaurant with a really friendly atmosphere. They also rent motorbikes, and the bikes were in very good condition. A great place with honest owners, good food, and great service. Thanks, it was lovely meeting you, and good luck with the guesthouse! :)

The owners were the friendliest I've met on Koh Phangan, and the room was clean and good value for a single. Breakfast was included, too. There's only a fan, so it does get a bit warm, but I can definitely recommend staying here.

The room was decent and the location worked well for getting to the pier. The owners were so friendly and helped us book tickets to our next stop for less than we'd seen elsewhere. Breakfast was included and really tasty. Since we had to leave very early for the boat, they even packed breakfast for us to take along. We slept poorly because bugs kept getting in at night, though, and mosquito nets would really help.
