U-Sabai Villa

A great place!

The room was roomy enough for six of us, including small children, and had large comfortable beds with new mattresses. I liked the walk-in closet, the modern design, and how thoughtfully everything was laid out. There was a microwave, a couple of plates, and glasses, though the glasses were chipped. Each morning they brought three 0.5-liter bottles of water and toilet paper. The bathroom window also had a nest, and my daughter was fascinated watching a bird feed its young. Getting to the beach took 3 minutes, and a 7-11 was less than a minute away. We wanted to rent long-term but couldn’t agree on terms. We asked about a monthly rate of 13 months, or 10 for a 3-month stay. The daily price was 5,000 baht for 4 nights, which felt a bit expensive, especially in low season in May 2022. With daily rental, gas wasn’t included. You could buy gas for 400 baht, but we couldn’t cook, which was a downside given the high nightly cost. The service was so-so, and I didn’t like the attitude. Mixed feelings overall. It was fine for a short stay, but the village-center spot beside the road was a bit noisy for a longer one.

The bungalows are cozy and have everything you need. It’s a wonderful place, and the host was super hospitable.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and parking was available. The surroundings were pleasant and shady.
