There are minimarts along the beach, plus plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. You can rent a motorcycle further up the road, and the beach is calm enough for a relaxing visit. Canoes and other things are available to take out on the water. The hotel is around 100 m from Wong Duen Beach, and it’s clean enough, with a fridge and Internet TV in each room. Bathrooms are okay, and fresh towels and water are brought daily. Good value for the money.

The owners are really kind, and the place is cozy and nice. Rooms have been renovated, with new plumbing, and you can park your bike right next to your room. There’s greenery all around and lovely flower beds, plus birds singing in the morning. I’ll definitely come back.

The beach looks a long way off on the map, but it’s only about a minute’s walk. Our room was clean and nice, with safety bars on the windows, a safe, and a padlock on the front door, so our belongings felt very secure while we relaxed. We arrived early and they let us check in without a problem, thanks for that. Tall guests should watch out for the low washroom doorway, my husband bumped his head on it a couple of times. I can’t speak for every room, but ours had a new air conditioner, which is pretty unbelievable for Thailand. Great for a reasonable price.

The family running this place were friendly and accommodating, which felt rare in the tourist business around here. You’ll need a scooter to get to the different restaurants, beaches and viewpoints. We rented ours at the pier. The rooms are simple but well equipped, and exceptionally clean. Hope we can make it back someday. Thanks for the great service.
