The atmosphere was relaxed, the restaurant was good, and the staff were very nice. The hotel is right on the beach, with a deckchair and umbrella included in the room price. Definitely recommended. From Ban Phe pier, you can take the speed boat directly to Wong Duean pier for 800 baht round trip, and it takes you straight to Crescent Bay hotel.

Crescent Bay Resort is a relaxing beach escape, the sort of place where you can trade stress for sunshine and spend the day doing very little. You can swim, build sandcastles, lounge in the sun, or imagine you’re in your own beach vacation movie. There are fun indulgences too, like a fruity cocktail or another plate of nachos. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid back. The beach can get crowded, though, and it may feel like a synchronized sunbathing session with a hundred other people. And if you’re tempted by souvenirs, those seashell necklaces and beach themed T-shirts can be hard to resist. A refreshing place to unwind and recharge.

The resort is right in front of the beach, and we could hear the shoreline from our room. There’s no food service at the resort itself, but a restaurant beside it brought food to our room and reheated what we had left when we asked. The nightlife is lively, with lots of colorful lights and a beachside BBQ dinner. The fire show starts after 8 pm.

The hotel was excellent value for money and in a great location. There are plenty of places to eat just outside. When you arrive on the island, take the speed boat if you can, it drops you at the hotel entrance. If you take the larger boat, you’ll need to pay for a baht bus to get to the hotel.
